VideoWho is
BioDiego Muradas is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Madrid, Spain. Drawing inspiration from musical traditions across cultures and generations, his sound blends acoustic folk, indie, and Brazilian music with contemporary influences. With over a decade of musicianship, Diego brings a personal touch to both his original compositions and live interpretations, exploring themes of love, distance, nostalgia, and human connection.
Having lived and made music in Brazil, the United States, and Spain, Diego's musical journey reflects a connection to different creative environments. During four years spent in California, he immersed himself in the local music culture, connecting with fellow musicians and exploring new approaches to his craft. Influenced by artists such as Neil Young, John Mayer, Daniel Caesar, Radiohead, and Bob Marley, his musical style moves naturally between genres while remaining rooted in acoustic instrumentation and expressive storytelling.
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in music composition in Madrid, Diego continues to develop his artistic voice as both a composer and performer. Playing guitar, piano, and bass alongside his vocals, he brings a distinctive interpretation to a repertoire spanning the 1970s to the present day, including folk, indie, Brazilian classics, and contemporary music.
His original songs explore the complexities of love, longing, distance, and the emotions that connect people. Whether performing his own compositions or reimagining familiar songs, Diego's approach remains the same: honest music, meaningful stories, and a genuine connection with his audience.
